Being prepared for anything is better than planning to prevent everything.

August 18, 2015

You simply can’t plan for everything that will go wrong.

No matter how experienced, how prescient, how careful and risk adverse you are, you can plan a house move to the minute and still have all your belongings stolen when the removal truck goes missing.

Planning for what could happen is tiring, costly and won’t prevent problems from happening.

A much better use of your time and skills is to ensure you have the tools, culture, systems, processes, skills and confidence to cope with anything that may happen.
