Once a week, we share a link to someone else's website or blog that we find useful. These aren't necessarily part of the video games industry and it's interesting to see how much cross over there is sometimes.
This week we want to share Leo Babauta's website called Zen Habits. From his about page:
"Zen Habits is about finding simplicity in the daily chaos of our lives. It’s about clearing the clutter so we can focus on what’s important, create something amazing, find happiness.
It also happens to be one of the Top 25 blogs and Top 50 websites in the world, with more than a million monthly readers, and is uncopyrighted. Zen Habits features a couple powerful articles a week on: simplicity, health & fitness, motivation and inspiration, frugality, family life, happiness, goals, getting great things done, and living in the moment.
My name is Leo Babauta, and I’m the creator and writer here. I’m married with six kids, I live in San Francisco (previously on Guam), I’m a writer and a runner and a vegan."
He writes free articles on dealing with external stresses and finding internal calm and professional/financial success. It sounds a little creepy when I write that, but it's not - it's a useful source of tips on living more meaningfully, regardless of what that means to you.
He also organises free training programs, and charges for others. Overall it's a useful, motivating source of free content.
